PROJECTS

I practice both digital & traditional art, and mix the both often to create interesting effects. Overall, I am really fond of art nouveau & dark fantasy, and i try to reflect those inspirations in my art.

Here are a few examples of digital illustrations I have done in the years 2020 - 2024

When it comes to traditional art, I favor inks & watercolors. I really enjoy using a very limited palette when doing inks, and as for watercolors, painting sceneries is one of my favorite things to do.

Since 2019 I have done multiple freelance jobs as an illustrator, with a few book & podcasts covers.

Ex Decreto is a free game based on Gwenaelle Deborde's thesis developed from the game jam version into a full game.I worked as a concept & UI artist, from March 2023 to November 2023.

I've worked on multiple short games made during game jams, which can all be found on my Itch.io page

During the
game jam La Science entre en Jeu of Spring 2024 I worked on creating a short game about geo-archeological research to find a Viking site near the Loire.
During the 48 hours of the game jam, I worked on all the visual assets, from the character design to the environment tiles, as well as some simple animations. The game itself is in french.

During the
game jam Les rendez-vous de l'histoire of Fall 2022 I worked on creating a short educational game about roman law, based on an actual thesis by Gwenaëlle Deborde, an historian studying for her doctorate at the Sorbonne.
This was my first game jam, and a very formative experience, that then lead to developing the project into an actual game thanks to various subventions.During the 48 hours of the game jam, I worked on all the visual assets, such as the concept art for the environment & characters, as well as the UI design & textures. The game itself is in french.

Created during the Scientific Game Jam 2023 Online, Où est hERVa? (Where is hERVa?) is a game based on the thesis of Marie Verneret about endogenic retrovirus (ERV).This game tries to approach her thesis about those ERV & their effects on sheeps in a fun & educational way. During the 48h of the jam, I worked on the concept art and UI elements of the game, as well as the logo and overall team organization.

Vanité

During the second edition of the game jam les Rendez-vous de l'histoire in September 2023 I worked on a short game based on the short story "L'Amant Sacrilège" by Jean-Pierre Camus, a bishop and writer during the 17th century. His work fits in with the macabre theme that can be found in work of the time, and the game itself was based on the thesis of Hélène Thérin.During this game, I was not in charge of the UI or other artwork, but I worked on the character sprites and background.
